The goal of this project was to create a magazine with a multi-spread article. I responded to this with a nostalgic, yet modernized, publication called Hazy Youth. The front and back covers were made for a special edition oriented around the bands preforming at the 2022 When We Were Young Festival. The article featured takes a deep dive into song lyrics from a punk-rock band. The sketch-like drawings were created to replicate elements of the album cover art. I came up with the majority of my ideas through collaging, and this inspiration is evident on every single page.
